VERMONT CASTINGS TO ACQUIRE CONSOLIDATED DUTCHWEST

RANDOLPH, Vt., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Vermont Castings, Inc., the leading U.S. manufacturer of wood stoves, has signed an agreement to acquire Consolidated Dutchwest, Inc., the leading United States stove retailer, that is based in Plymouth, Mass., it was announced today by Duncan Syme, chairman and chief executive officer of Vermont Castings. Both companies are privately-held.
Terms of the agreement are that Vermont Castings will purchase Consolidated Dutchwest's U.S. assets, except for real estate holdings. Consolidated Dutchwest ...
