Time is running out for Raymond Davis and nearly 27,000 other local senior citizens enrolled in the three Medicare HMOs leaving Greater Cincinnati at year-end.
And Davis, not sure of his options, is worried. ''They're not doing anything to let us know what to do. If I don't have coverage, I can't afford my prescriptions,'' said Davis, 70, a resident of Clifton Place, a rent-subsidized apartment complex that also houses Clifton Senior Center.
Davis attended Thursday's formation of a senior citizen health task force at the center, convened by Marilyn Hyland to meet weekly for six weeks. The task force will discuss health-care issues facing the elderly, ...
