Sep. 26--Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corp. will dedicate its new facility for manufacturing parts for computer chips in Garden Grove today. The 182,000-square-foot plant, which began operations in June, already is the second-largest business in the city, employing 600 people.
Saint-Gobain, a French multinational corporation with revenue of $24 billion, will hold a ceremony at 2 p.m. today attended by city officials and Saint-Gobain executives, including Gilles Michel, the president of the plastics branch.
