Anritsu Company announced that it has tripled the Gigabit port capacity of its MultiFlow 5000 Layer 2/3/4 chassis switches with new 6-port Gigabit Ethernet modules. Gigabit ports on the new modules offer a unique intermediate bandwidth capability that can provide bandwidth between Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet for applications such as servers that need this type of service, with burst-mode operation at full Gigabit speeds when needed.
