''Forbidden Broadway,'' the long-running parody of Broadway musicals that's kept off-Broadway laughing for nearly two decades, is finally coming to Cincinnati.
And sooner than you thought.
Presented by Downtown Theatre Classics, the show opens Tuesday at the Aronoff Center for the Arts and runs through Oct. 15.''Forbidden Broadway'' was originally scheduled for next February, but Downtown Theatre Classics decided that it wanted to follow its season opener (''Little Shop of Horrors'') with a production that had ''the potential of great commercial success.''
The schedule switch is designed to boost DTC box-office receipts.
