Former Cuyahoga County Commissioner Lee Weingart and David Snyder, the founder of Cleveland technology consulting firm Realogic Inc., have fused with another Realogic alumnus to buy a local software firm.

Messrs. Weingart and Snyder, in tandem with David Weyher, a former Realogic executive who now runs Internet company Digital Atoms Inc. of Sterling, Va., this month bought Cleveland software developer GlobalServe Corp. for an undisclosed sum. Messrs. Weingart and Snyder are investors in Digital Atoms, which was formed in June.
