September has ended early at East Carolina. With an open date this week, the Pirates can call it a month.
And, at 3-1, not a bad one.
``We've played 16 quarters of football,'' coach Steve Logan said. ``Two of them were not very pretty. Fourteen of them were pretty solid.''
