ANN ARBOR, Mich. _ Declining to follow President Clinton's bare-all 1992 precedent, Vice President Al Gore appeared on MTV Tuesday and stuck to issues not briefs, air quality not inhaling and delivered a strong appeal for young people to vote.
Addressing a crowd of students here in this key swing state, the Democratic presidential nominee covered most of his signature campaign topics _from protecting the environment to creating a tax cut for college tuition.
