BEIJING, Sept 27 Asia Pulse - China can now produce 12 million washing machines a year. At present pulsator washing machines dominate China`s market, with home penetration rate topping 90%, of which semi-automatic (common twin-tub) ones account for 62% and automatic ones, 31%. The market shares of automatic washing machines are rising. Pulsator washing machines are the flagship variety in China`s washing machine exports, while semi-automatic pulsator washing machines are sold mainly in rural areas.
