The New York Biotechnology Association today announced that Ira Flatow, well-known National Public Radio science journalist is the moderator for the opening plenary session of the 10th Annual Meeting scheduled for October 11-12, 2000 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, New York City. The plenary will address the issue, What is the Public Asking about Biotechnology and how Do We Answer? Other panelists will be Marion Nestle, Dept. of Nutrition at New York University, David Schmidt of International Food Information Council and Terry Medley of DuPont Nutrition and Health.
