Article: Research Shows Kimchi Slows Aging Process.

Researchers from Pusan National University announced yesterday that eating kimchi could reduce the risk of heart disease and slow the aging process by reducing the amount of oxygen the body burns.

Professor Song Yong-ok of the university's Food and Nutrition Department said that after feeding lab mice a variety of kimchi, his team discovered that the chemicals which cause the aging process decreased significantly.

He presented his findings at the eighth Academic Society session in Kyongju, Kyongsang-pukto Province.
