CHICAGO -- Nordstrom makes its long-anticipated debut on Chicago's Michigan Avenue Friday with the opening of a 271,000-square-foot, four-story, full-line store.
The second-floor men's department includes a number of innovations. Nordstrom has moved The Rail, its young men's and denim department, to the men's floor from a location adjacent to juniors', something the chain has done only a few times. A bath and body shop for men debuts with this store, and the floor also houses men's fragrances as well as the largest men's shoe department in the chain -- about 4,000 square feet.
There are over 5,000 men's suits and sport coats in a tailored clothing ...
