World Bank Seeking Credit Hogged by IMF in Korea Affair.

The latest chapter of a dispute between the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank appears to over Korea, the country that has most quickly recovered from the financial crisis which struck many Asian economies in 1997.

The World Bank, miffed about the lack of credit attributed to it despite its key role in Korea's economic recovery, in contrast to the limelight the IMF enjoys, is trying to stay involved in Korea's reform program perhaps in order to gain the respect they think they deserve.
