Sep. 25--Hard Rock Cafe's planned changes may have folks partying at the pyramid in Myrtle Beach.
Extending weekend hours, possibly until 2 a.m. Thursdays through Saturdays, and adding live bands will help the theme restaurant emerge as a nightspot, said Chris Tomasso, Hard Rock's senior director of marketing.
The restaurant now closes at 10 p.m. With later hours and upbeat music playing through its in-house video and sound system, the pyramid is predicted to become a gathering spot for locals.
