KNAPE & VOGT REPORTS RECORD NINE-MONTHS SALES AND NET EARNINGS

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Co. (NASDAQ-NMS: KNAP) today reported record third fiscal quarter sales of $26,874,565, up 5.4 percent from a year ago. Net earnings increased 31.6 percent ot $1,999,021, or 50 cents a share.

Nine-months net earnings increased 34.3 percent to a record $4,574,581, or $1.14 a share, on record sales of $75,161,326, up 21 percent from last year.

Raymond E. Knape, president, attributed the sales results primarily to steady sales gains for the company's drawer slides and strong demand for its new Shelf Anchor ...
