Sep. 29--While creditors of alleged penny stock swindler Robert E. Brennan were scouring the globe for millions of dollars he is alleged to have hidden, more than $12 million may have been floating dockside just eight miles from Brennans Florida home, authorities now contend.
Using a complex series of transactions -- and the help of longtime business associates -- Brennan secretly invested at least $12 million in the Palm Beach Princess, a cruise casino whose home port is the Riviera Beach Municipal Marina, according to new allegations by the Securities and Exchange Commission. Brennan's 9,000-square-foot oceanfront condo is in Juno Beach, 20 minutes to the north. ...
