Following its review of all German underwriting results, Standard & Poor's today assigned its single-'Api' ratings to Germany-based DBV Winterthur Lebensversicherung AG (DBV Winterthur Leben). At the same time, Standard & Poor's lowered its ratings on Hannoversche Lebensversicherung aG (Hannoversche Leben) and Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung aG (Stuttgarter Leben) to triple-'Bpi' from single-'Api'. The public information-based insurer financial strength ratings on a further 28 companies were affirmed. See list below for all rating actions.
