The American College has announced that it will merge with the LUTC, combining the academic expertise of the former with the sales training experience of the latter.
The groups' staffs will be combined at the campus of the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa., outside Philadelphia. In addition, the LUTC, which has been headquartered in Bethesda, Md., will maintain an office in the Washington area. The two organizations currently have about 260 employees, but the new entity will have only about 230 employees, officials say. The merged organization will be called the American College.
