TO RECEIVE FUNDS FOR HAZARDOUS MATERIALS TRAINING
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Speaking before 300 state and local officials attending a disaster conference sponsored by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in Atlantic City, Jack M. Sable, director of FEMA Region II, announced today that New Jersey will receive $240,000 and New York will receive $170,000 to conduct hazardous materials training for state and local emergency managers in 1988. The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico is scheduled to receive $30,217 and the Territory of the Virgin Islands will receive $40,000. The ...
