Sep. 29--SAN DIEGO--Sempra Energy wants county permission to temporarily make extra air pollution in order to keep natural gas pumping through San Diego County pipelines, according to applications filed with the county Air Pollution Control District.
Sempra is the parent company of San Diego Gas & Electric Co., which provides electricity and natural gas to customers in San Diego County, and Southern California Gas, which provides natural gas to 18 million customers in Central and Southern California.
