The Mead Corporation (NYSE: MEA) today announced that Barbara L. Brasier has been appointed president of the Gilbert Paper division based in Menasha, Wisconsin, effective immediately. Brasier replaces Bill Plummer who is leaving Mead to pursue other opportunities.
Brasier has served as vice president of Finance and Administration for Mead Coated Board since September 1998. She joined Mead in 1984 as a financial accountant after working as a senior audit and tax consultant at Touche Ross. Brasier worked for Mead Fine Papers in both marketing and finance positions and then joined the corporate strategy team as a ...
