World Dairy Expo 2000 will host some 70,000 visitors coming from over 30 states and 80 foreign countries.
They will come to view competition within seven dairy cattle breeds involving 2,000 animals, scrutinize the latest products and services offered by 826 commercial exhibitors, attend seminars featuring the ``hot'' dairy subjects and to greet old -- and make new -- friends.
Most of those thousands of visitors -- whether professional cattle breeders from Germany, a Wisconsin dairy family from Greenwood or a curious family from Madison -- will buy something.
It could be a $500,000 milking parlor or $50 straw of bull genetics, but more likely it ...
