Possibly the last adjective to accurately describe Cirque du Soleil's theatrics would be dull. Still, when the troupe decided to invite 37 Chinese acrobats into its fold for its newest production, "Dralion," fresh blood flowed into its performing veins.
"It came at the right time," Sylvie Galarneau, "Dralion's" artistic director, says of the creative infusion.
Audiences can decide for themselves when "Dralion" debuts Wednesday at Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II in McLean. The performance centers on a celebration of life keyed by the four elements - earth, air, fire and water.
