Let's get this out of the way first: Rob Lowe is every bit as good-looking in person as he is on screen. Maybe more so.
Yet the famous film and television actor, who stars as deputy communications director Sam Seaborn in NBC's prime-time White House soap opera "The West Wing," wasn't focusing on himself during a visit Friday morning to the Lee Co. in Merriam, Kan.
He was there to talk about breast cancer.
