ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 2000

AirTran Airways today announced it will initiate new low-fare service between Grand Bahama Island International Airport and Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport on December 12, 2000. This makes Grand Bahama Island the thirty-third destination the airline serves and its only international point.
