The presidential candidate ribbed for claims that he "invented" the Internet just got more troubling news from cyberspace. "Virtual town hall" participants awarded Texas Gov. George W. Bush a 10-point victory in Wednesday night's debate, with 48 percent choosing Bush as the winner and 38 percent giving the nod to Vice President Al Gore.
The online focus group was comprised of 768 registered and likely voters across the country -- the largest national sampling of voters assembled to measure Wednesday night's debate. The online "instant response" poll has a 3.5 percent margin of error.
