PEOPLE ON THE MOVE WITHIN THE INDUSTRY
The Special Libraries Association's (SLA) Library Management Division has announced that it has renamed the Management Leadership Award as the Karen J. Switt Leadership Award in honor of the memory of Karen J. Switt. C. Berger Group, Inc. sponsors this award.
Switt served in three divisions of SLA and also as a member of both the Illinois and Washington, DC, chapters. She was chair of the Membership Directory Committee and involved in several projects, including the Great Lakes Regional Conference III and the ITE-sponsored workshops to teach online searching.
