Redevelopment in southern Arlington Heights might soon take a new turn from the commercial to the professional.
Developer Larry McKone is proposing a new six-acre office park be built at Arlington Heights Road and Council Trail.
The tentatively named "Gettysburg Historical Office Park" would contain between 15 to 20 buildings bearing the names of Arlington Heights' founding fathers and village presidents.
The structures wouldn't be glass and steel cubes, however. McKone's plans call for office buildings that resemble, from the outside, homes.
