After four years of watching opposing defenses try to cope with tailback Ron Dayne, the University of Wisconsin defense gets to share in the experience today.
At 6-foot-1, 251 pounds with sprinter's speed, Michigan State sophomore T.J. Duckett, in his first full season at tailback, is already drawing comparisons to Dayne.
``You try the best you can to keep (Duckett) out of the secondary,'' coach Barry Alvarez said of UW's defensive strategy, echoing the sentiment of so many opposing defensive coordinators the previous four years.
``We're just going to have to gang tackle him,'' UW's Nick Greisen said, sounding like so many linebackers who faced Dayne.
