SEAN LONG received a death threat after inspiring St Helens to a famous victory at his old club Wigan last season.
But the hate mail hasn't worried Rugby League's latest star, who is the biggest danger to Wigan in tonight's Grand Final at Old Trafford.
Long, crowned Man of Steel this week, said: "I'm still alive and kicking. The death threat didn't concern me too much.
"The letter was sent to the club and said if I set foot in Wigan again, I'd regret it. But that wasn't an option because I've lived in the town all my life.
