EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. _ In his four-year career at Wisconsin, Ron Dayne rushed for 100 yards 33 times. Thanks to a Cowboys defense that has given up 200-yard rushing performances twice this season, Dayne busted loose for the biggest game of his career.
"I didn't know I was going to get the ball more today," Dayne said.
Good thing for the Giants he did.
The rookie running back rushed 21 times for a career-high 108 yards. He averaged 5.1 yards per carry and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 3-yard run with 10 minutes remaining in the game.
