In the movie, "Pay It Forward" a young boy's teacher challenges him to start a project that will make the world a better place. The boy devises a plan where he will perform favors for strangers, and rather than having the strangers 'pay the favor back', they will be asked to 'pay it forward' to three more strangers and so on and so on. These actions soon form a chain reaction of random acts of kindness, thus fulfilling the boy's assignment by making the world a better place.
