Brandrill Ltd, based in Pinjarra, Western Australia, provides technology and contracting services to the mining and civil construction industries, including drill-and-blast services to Australian surface and underground mines, and also provides mining services in South Africa through its 51%-owned subsidiary Brandrill Torrex. However, in addition to its contracting services to the mining sector, it has a division devoted to research and development into rockbreaking technologies, in particular its proprietary `penetrating cone fracture' (PCF) non-explosive rock-breaking technology.
