LIBERTARIAN PARTY RENOUNCES CANDIDATE
IONIA, Mich., Sept. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The Libertarian Party of Michigan has withdrawn support for the Rev. James Clifton, who will be listed on the Nov. 8 ballet as a Libertarian candidate for the State Board of Education.
Rev. Clifton, who was elected to the Village Council in Addison, Mich., as a Libertarian, recently resigned his membership in the Libertarian Party.
Richard Whitelock, state chairman of the Michigan Libertarian Party, issued the following statement:
