Oct. 14--ATLANTA--Johnnie Cochran Jr.'s brash entry into Atlanta's legal scene has been about as low-key as the famed trial attorney himself.
In just 1 1/2 years with an Atlanta affiliation, Cochran has sued Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola Co. and Georgia Power Co., alleging racial discrimination.
"I like trying cases, particularly against big companies, like David vs. Goliath," said Cochran, in an interview during a recent Atlanta visit. "There are other major corporations that really ought to take stock and look at themselves. People are looking at taking action."
