SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt Oct. 16 (UPI)
Palestinian Minister of Information Yasser Abed Rabbo Monday said there was no progress after the first session of the Sharm El Sheikh summit to end violence in the Palestinian territories. "Well, until now there is no progress and the atmosphere is not improving and is not encouraging," Abed Rabbo told reporters in resort on the Red Sea. Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak called for a summit to defuse tensions and invited both Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat, King Abdallah II of Jordan and President Clinton.
