MINNEAPOLIS, April 24 /PRNewswire/ --
Fargo Electronics, Inc. (Nasdaq: FRGO), a leading manufacturer of products for the personalization of plastic identification cards, today announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 6,022,429 covering the plastic card lamination technique developed by Fargo. The patent covers placement of a clear or holographic laminate patch over the surface of plastic identification cards to protect a printed image from wear or fading. This new patent complements an earlier patent issued to Fargo covering its lamination apparatus.
