NovaMed Eyecare, Inc. (Nasdaq: NOVA), a leading eye care services and surgical facilities company, announced today that net revenue for the nine months ended September 30, 2000, increased 41.3 percent from the first nine months of 1999 to $100.8 million. Net income for the period rose 46.0 percent to $4.1 million, while earnings per diluted share increased 33 percent to 16 cents from 12 cents per diluted share (pro forma) in 1999's first nine months.
