Oct. 22--NEEDHAM, Mass.--CONTRACTOR TAKES MONEY AND RUNS: The anger around Alice Lee's kitchen table was palpable.
Lee and two of her neighbors were telling how a home improvement contractor named Joseph Ludvigsen had taken their money but failed to complete the work he was hired to do. They pleaded with him to finish the job and, when that didn't work, they took him to court. But he just ignored them.
"These contractors are so arrogant, and it's because they know they can get away with it," Lee said.
