She's won dozens of awards, from Emmys to Golden Globes to a Peabody.
In 1994, she was inducted into the National Association Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
Still, with all of her success, Carol Burnett sometimes is tempted to pinch herself.
"I'm still awed by meeting famous people," Burnett said. "When we would have someone like Lana Turner as a guest on the show, I'd be saying to myself `Oh My God, I'm standing here with Lana Turner.'"
