SHU UEMURA'S TASTE FOR VARIETY
TOKYO (FNS)--Shu Uemura Cosmetics, Inc., has launched diversified lines of women's and men's fragrances, hoping that the Japanese will gradually develop a liking for personal scents.
The women's collection has 50 varieties. The men's has 24.
Shu Uemura, which has annual retail sales of $60 million, launched Parfum d'Homme Allie (perfume blended for men) in February at its beauty boutiques in three department stores in tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. In July, it added the line for women, Parfum de Allie, at the Ginza Printemps department store.
