The Yak, an old Olympic hand from the Detroit Free Press, traveled to Australia earlier this year to give young readers a preview of the host country to the 2000 Summer Games set to begin Sept. 15.
The Yak offers insights into Australia's culture and people in a paginated eight-page tab section, posted on KRT Direct and PressLink Online. A teacher's guide also will be available from Tribune Media Services.
