QXL.com plc (Nasdaq: QXLC)(LSE: QXL.L) ("QXL") today announces the launch of QXL.tv, a new service to deliver live auction programming via the television and Internet. The launch will be marked by the live broadcast of the QXL Wembley Memorabilia Auction on Sky Sports 1 and over the Internet tonight.

QXL.tv is the new name of ibidlive, a subsidiary of QXL.com plc. QXL announced on 24 October 2000 an increase in its equity interest in ibidlive N.V. to 62 per cent. QXL announced an initial equity investment of 50 per cent on 23 December 1999. Founded in April 1999, ibidlive ...
