Facilities as Needs, Costs Increase
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ --
The San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has unanimously endorsed the proposed site for the Metcalf Energy Center in Coyote Valley.
The center, proposed by Calpine Corporation and Bechtel Enterprises, Inc., will be a 600-megawatt, natural gas-fired, combined cycle energy generation facility.
