May police stop and frisk you based only on an anonymous call accusing you of committing a crime?
The Wisconsin Supreme Court will consider that issue Thursday when it hears arguments in the cases of two men who claim their convictions should be thrown out because of unconstitutional police conduct.
Lawyers for Roosevelt Williams and Paul Rutzinski claim police violated the Fourth Amendment and a similar provision of the Wisconsin Constitution in stopping them based on a tip, without seeing evidence of criminal activity.
