Furukawa Electric has jointly developed a digital antenna, working with the Science & Technical Research Laboratories of Japan Broadcasting Corp (NHK).
The compact, high-performance antenna can be used at relaying stations, and has a structure that enables excellent reception of broadcast waves from a master station despite its compact size; the antenna efficiently suppresses reception of not only direct loop interference from the transmitting antenna, but also indirect loop interference from nearby reflecting structures.
