No matter how hard he tries, Clayton R. Hoyt can't retire.

As a troubleshooter for Douglas Aircraft, he traveled throughout Africa, the Middle East and the Far East. As an entrepreneur, he built a firm in Mexico City that manufactured electronic components for cars. Six years ago, he started his third career as a hypnotherapist.

Hoyt didn't plan it that way.

He had managed his business in Mexico for 26 years, but the air pollution had altitude bothered him. He sold out and moved to San Diego to retire. But within months, he got bored.
