Four days before Election Day, the race between Vice President Al Gore and Texas Gov. George W. Bush for the national popular vote is too close to call, with Gore leading among registered voters 44-41 percent - a statistical dead heat -- according to the latest Newsweek Poll, with Green Party candidate Ralph Nader at 5 percent and Reform Party candidate Pat Buchanan with less than one percent. Among likely voters, Bush leads by a 45-43 percent margin, while Gore leads 29-18 percent among swing voters who have not decided or say they could still change their minds.
