THE WOOD EDUCATION and Resource Center of Princeton, WV, a program of the USDA Forest Service, has approved more than $1.5 million in grants and cooperative agreements involving 32 projects.
Approved projects address training and workforce development, environmental protection, public education, conservation, efficiency, safety, sustainability and international competitiveness. The funds will be used by universities, industry associations, private sector firms and others. Some of the projects include:
