DeLorme has announced the release of Street Atlas USA 8.0, an update of the company's street-level mapping software that includes new data and expanded functionality. According to the company, this version of the consumer-oriented mapping software makes trip planning and real-time navigation more accurate than ever.
The CD-ROM offers new road data and updates to routing and address-search capabilities, as well as data and function upgrades that include the following:

* Over 3 million updated points of interest
